Application

How easy beautiful can be... Rolplast®
Rolplast: the first multicolour structured paint, which is easily applied with a roller. Just how easy the application is, you are now about to see. What do you need? A good lamb's wool roller, a square limer brush, masking tape, a small knife, Rolplast of course, and not forgetting ... a large dose of enthusiasm!

The preparations
Well begun is half done. Before applying Rolplast, you must make sure that surfaces are dry and free of dust and grease. Any defects in the surface should be repaired. Strongly absorbing, powdering or stained surfaces should be pre-treated with a fixing and/or insulating primer. Mask door-posts, sockets and baseboards with tape.

The materials
Make sure your materials are in good condition. Firmly stir the Rolplast and place a grating in the bucket. Dampen the roller with some water. Squeeze out the excess water from the roller. Then dip the roller in the bucket and roll it over the grating to divide the Rolplast. First make some strikes of Rolplast on a piece of cardboard, to make sure the roller is well saturated. Then apply the Rolplast on the wall in a thin and even layer. Put the Rolplast as close as possible to corners and edges. Subsequently use a brush to carefully push the material into corners and edges. Under normal circumstances you can start the second layer in half an hour ... ... and your wall is done!

A second method
Already after application of the first layer, you will conclude that Rolplast is applied homogeneously and smoothly. If you evenly colour the walls with a primer advised by your supplier, one layer of Rolplast is sufficient. Use a square limer brush to smoothen any unevennesses by brushing it slightly , evenly and in short strokes over the wall.

In conclusion an advice which applies to both methods: try not to cover too large an area of the wall in once. Divide the surface in smaller areas and apply Rolplast area by area.

As you see: with Rolplast® you create walls well worth looking at!
